What is YODYL™?

YODYL is a text messaging (SMS or Short Message Service) relay system that gives businesses the ability to add cell phone messaging to their websites and web applications. Use text messaging to alert your customers and to send them important information from your website.

How Does it Work?

To take advantage of the YODYL text messaging platform, simply include the source code we provide (basic JavaScript) in your website/web application. When an event triggers a text message delivery on your website, the message data will be sent to the YODYL API where it will then be transmitted to the cellular network of your intended recipient. From there the message will be delivered to their phone.

Benefits of Text Messaging

Unlike e-mail, which is a fairly passive form of communication, text messaging is immediate and portable. When a customer receives a text, they will get that message no matter where they are or what they're doing, as long as they have cellular service. The immediacy of a text message simply cannot be matched by standard e-mail.
